This attractive 2 bed apartment is situated in the pleasant residential area of La Zenia, 10 mins south of Torrevieja and within close walking distance of the sea. It is an ideal base for families or couples to explore the local amenities including award winning beaches, and world renowned golf courses (Villa Martin, Las Ramblas, Campoamor, etc). Local bars and restaurants are abundant and cater for all nationalities. Good road links make historical sites and attractions (Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, etc) easily accessible. The apartment has 1 double and 1 twin bedroom (each with spacious fitted wardrobes) a comfortable lounge (with double sofa bed and Satellite TV) fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. It has a large south facing private solarium/sun terrace (with sun-loungers, table and chairs) that receives the sun from early morning until sunset. There is a communal pool and free use of the local hotel's pools with adjoining poolside bars and good tennis courts.

La Zenia: There are many locals bars, restaurants, supermarkets, banks, a pharmacy, car rentals and other shops together with our property management agent who are on hand if you ever need them. The people are very friendly and are a mixture of mostly Spanish, Irish and British having come there on holiday or even settled there to live. You have an excellent choice of restaurants - Spanish, Italian, Chinese, English and Indian. The local bar has live music every night year round and children are welcome. There are many activities for children of all ages in the local vicinity. Local Area: There are a number of beautiful sandy coves and clean blue flag beaches which have plenty of space for sunbathing plus play areas for children and shallow rock pools to explore and of course, plenty of sunshine! A short drive in land and you are in the middle of the orange and lemon groves where there are traditional Spanish villages to visit. Further afield there are historic sites of interest and the Spanish national park, Sierra de Espuna for some mountain/hill walking. Nearby Torrevieja Torrevieja is a cosmopolitan Spanish town 10 minutes north of La Zenia. It can be easily reached by car or by local buses that operate a frequent service. The town has a real Spanish atmosphere amongst beautiful architecture and plenty of shops (especially clothes, arts and crafts), bars, clubs, restaurants, cafes, an esplanade, and a marina. There is a huge open craft market each Friday and an aquapark and a go-karting track. You can fish in the fishing quay or take a boat trip down the coast, or even hire your own boat. You can also scuba dive with local dive shops, the water is reported to be clear and well stocked with a variety of fish and fauna. Golf Information A golfer's paradise! There are three championship courses within 5 mins drive: Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas which are reasonably priced. The world famous "La Manga" course is 45 mins away although it needs to be booked in advance due to its popularity. We will be happy to help with your golf bookings if required.
