In the beautiful picturesque village of Agaete in the north of Gran Canaria, you will find a few Villas that are available for you to rent for your holiday, whether they are private rentals or through a company, There are basic Villa's - with basic amenities in complex's, on the outskirts of the village heading towards Puerto de Las Nieves, which is perfect if you are a large group or family and want somewhere just to lay your head a night or there are luxurious Villas with an abundance of facilities and designed for your maximum comfort! They range in size from one bedroom Bungalows, terraces or semi- detached properties up to magnificent 6 bedrooms plus Villas in the country! Villas are ideal if you are a couple wanting more space than you can get in an apartment or maybe a family or big group!
There are private rentals that are available too in Agaete, where people that have bought the property for holiday homes and when they are not there rent out for your exclusive use! These are lovely, you will find them either set in privately owned complexes, or set in there own private land sometimes with a private swimming pool, Normally located in a residential area - where the locals live! Some of these Villas will come with a communal swimming pool though, although these are normally quiet and you will not often find many people around them. A word of warning though as these are quieter they are normally better for families or older groups than the young tourists!!! Or within the village a little terrace townhouse!
You can also find smaller Villas and bungalows that come in a Hotel type resort on the outskirts of Agaete, here you will find communal facilities and swimming pools! Also if you don't fancy cooking at all there are Restaurants etc for you to use on site! Some even have entertainment in the evenings! You can even get an bungalow on a Half board basis. Although most are self-catering and this is why people prefer to have these for there own privacy.
Over the island of Gran Canaria prices will completely vary, In Agaete they will generally range from €180-200 per week upwards this price is normally for a small villa or bungalow in a complex on the outskirts of Agaete or a little terrace townhouse in the centre of the village. The majority of companies or people will do deals on the price for the longer you have the property, where the price of the property will become cheaper! Prices will change however, depending on size, location and the properties amenities and facilities.
