Andorra Fiestas Rather than national celebrations Andorra's fiestas are spread across the towns and villages in the principality. The fiestas lean heavily towards Catalan (Spanish) tradition. Almost all of the festivals coincide with special religious dates and natural cycles such as the summer solstice. All of Andorra's popular fiestas take place between the 27th of May and the 30th of September, this is largely to do with the heavy snowfall of the winter months.   On the 24th of June many of Andorra's villages celebrate the feast of St. John (San Juan) which marks the summer solstice with a variety of attractions.   Precise dates cannot be given for many festivities due to ever changing dates.
