Benicassim Theme Parks Benicassim's population swells during the summer months due to an influx of tourists. A percentage of visitors will look to theme parks for entertainment during their stay, however due to the presence of two of Spain's largest theme parks in each of the neighboring coastlines there are no large scale theme parks present on the Costa del Azahar itself (though there are of course smaller visiting fairs). Please see below for links to more detailed information on the nearest theme parks to Benicassim.   Port Aventura The Universal Studios owned Port Aventura resort is one of Spain's largest amusement parks; located a drive away to the south of Tarragona on the Costa Dorada. It offers an extensive range of rollercoasters and other white knuckle rides, dance shows, music shows, and virtual reality areas. A section of the resort is given over to the Caribe Aquatic water park, which boasts extensive indoor and outdoor areas. Terra Mitica-Costa Blanca Amusement Parks The best known theme park on the Costa Blanca is Terra Mitica (a Paramount Park) located near Benidorm.
