Playa Sabanell / Sabanell Beach Playa Sabanell is an extremely long beach fronting some of Blanes central-most zones. It measures over 3 kilometres in length, is made up of course golden sand, & has been awarded the European blue flag for cleanliness & clarity of water. Due to it's location Playa Sabanell does have a relatively high occupancy level for the area, though it is still lower than in most neighboring coastal towns. The beach is flanked by a seafront promenade, itself partially lined with a selection of cafes, restaurants, & other amenities. Facilities include; Sun beds & umbrellas, toilets & showers, water sports, boat hire, children's games, sports area, camping, parking, bus stop, life guards, & regular police patrols. Playa Cala de Sant Fransesc / Cala de Sant Fransesc Beach Playa Cala de Sant Fransesc is a small sandy cove measuring just under 250 metres in length. It is located in a residential area in Blanes & has been awarded the European blue flag for cleanliness & clarity of water. Flanked by a seafront promenade the beach boasts a good collection of restaurants & cafes that service it. Facilities include; Sun beds & umbrellas, toilets & showers, water sports, camping, parking, bus stop, life guards, & regular police patrols. Playa de Blanes / Blanes Beach Playa de Blanes is another of Blanes' centrally located beaches consisting of course golden sand. This small-ish urbanized beach (like others in the area) has been awarded the European blue flag for cleanliness & clarity of water. Due to location the beach is popular & visitors should expect a high occupancy level during the summer months. At one end stands the Port de Blanes marina. Facilities include; Sun beds & umbrellas, toilets & showers, water sports, boat hire, camping, parking, life guards, & regular police patrols.
