Bunol With a populace of around 9,000 the town of Bunol is best known for the annual fiesta known as La Tomatina, held around the last week of August. On the day of the fiesta (between 11am-1pm) around 30,000 revellers hurl some 240,000 pounds of over ripe tomatoes at each other.
