Cala Galdana Beaches The Cala Galdana beach is situated on the south coast of Menorca around 11km from Ferreries.  With facilities such as water sports, beach bars, and restaurants.  The Cala Galdana beach has a Blue Flag and Lifeguards, the waters are calm, and the beach is sandy.  Menorca (which is also known as Minorca) has around 100 beaches covering 216km of coastline, this is a similar amount as Ibiza and Mallorca and Ibiza combined.  There truly is something for everyone.  There are beaches with caves, or the huge deserted beaches, or beaches with watersports, restaurants, and great people watching.  The waters around Cala Galdana are amongst the cleanest in the Mediterranean.  It is worth knowing that if the wind is blowing from the north visit the southern coastal beaches, and visa versa.
