Cala Portinatx Tourist Information
Situated on the north tip of Ibiza Island, Cala Portinatx is a very pleasant untouched resort. The beach is a well known beauty spot, set in a picturesque bay, with fabulous views, clear waters, and golden white sand. There are three beaches in Portinatx; S'Arenal Gros, S'Arenal Petit, and Playa Porto Beach.
Inside the town of there are plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and a couple of shops. There is also a games centre with pool tables, and ten pin bowling. In the evening it is surprisingly lively with a selection of pubs, music bars, all welcoming families.
A short drive from Cala Portinatx are the only two golf courses in Ibiza, the Ibiza Golf Club is an 18 hole par 72 course, and the Roca Llisa is a 9 hole course with a driving range.
There are two waterparks on Ibiza island, both not too far from Cala Portinatx the first, and nearest is in Talamanca, this is the smaller water park of the two but the one that is more aimed at children. The other is in Playa den Bossa on the beach by the famous Space nightclub, the Playa den Bossa waterpark has many huge slides, only for the brave!
There is a regular bus and ferry service from Cala Portinatx to main towns all over the island.
