Cala Santandria Tourist Information Cala Santandria is a quiet beach dwelling resort with a handful of restaurants, bars, one nightclub and a few shops.  It is located on the west coast of Menorca island near Ciudadela, around 1hrs drive from the airport.  The best time to visit Cala Santandria is between May and October, high season is from June to September.    The blue flag beach in Cala Santandria is has calm waters, and fine yellow sand.  It also has many facilities such as water sports, beach bars, restaurants, lifeguards, a sailing, and a scuba diving school.  There is tones of attraction close to Cala Santandria from visiting one of the many museums, going sailing, horse riding, or yoga.  You could take a boat tour of the island, learn to scuba dive and much much more.  There is even a Gin Distillery where you can taste and watch Gin being made. To get around you can either take a taxi (as an estimate from the airport to Cala Santandria costs €50) rent a car (please see Cala Santandria Car rental on the left hand side of this page) or catch a bus, there is a reliable hourly bus service from Cala Santandria to Ciudadela, and Mahon.    There are two water parks in Menorca both are close to Santandria the Aqua Center Water Park which has the black hole flume, adventure river ride with rubber rings, giant toboggan, hidro tubes, children's water slides, jacuzzi, restaurants, trampolines, and bouncy castles.  And the Aqua Rock Menorca near Cala n Bosch please see Cala Galdana water parks for more information and contact details. The Club de Golf Son Parc golf course is relatively close to Cala Santandria designed by Dave Thomas, and precariously near to the sea, surrounded by peacocks and pine trees.  It is a moderately stunted and even course, trickier on the greens, however the wind can add challenges all over.
