Calahorra Tower Cordoba's Calahorra tower was built a a defensive structure in the 14th century. It was constructed on the site of a former Moorish castle. It consists of three tall square towers joined by equally tall convex walls; inside there are a total of 14 rooms that would have garrisoned troops. The fortification has proved it's worth in a number of battles since its construction.
