There are four Marinas in Menorca Island, one of which is situated in Calan Bosch (also spelt Cala n Bosch). The largest Ribera del Puerto located in the Capital City Mahon. Mooring costs are dependant on boat size, length of booking, time of year etc. Long term rentals can receive a discount of up to 30%. The Balearic Islands form a significant part of the yachting in the Mediterranean. with approximately 19,000 moorings dispersed into 64 marinas. Around 80% of these moorings are in Mallorca. The marinas are at their busiest during the high season (June till September) when allot of the Marinas are completely full, throughout the remainder of the year Marinas are occupied from 60% to 90%.
