If you would like to see a match whilst holidaying there then it is relatively easy to do so, there are plenty of buses that go from the main holiday resorts to Santa Cruz near the Estadio Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez stadium. The Stadium has a capacity of 22,500 spectators although attendance is generally less so there is almost always seats available! Being a distance from Mainland Spain very few supporters of other teams come here so there is rarely trouble. Fuerteventura Football Club U.D. Fuerteventura play in Spain's National League Division 2 Group B. There home ground is in Puerto del Rosario, although the team often plays matches in the Football ground close to Corralejo too. Getting to the Puerto del Rosario football ground is easy especially if you are coming from Caleta - as you will see a huge sign saying 'Fremap' from miles off and follow that as it is just behind the stadium.
