Menorca Beaches
The Cala Santandria beach is situated on the west coast of Menorca island near to Ciudadela. It is a blue flag beach with life guards working from April to October. There are facilities such as water sports, sunbeds with umbrellas, and pedaloes. The sand is golden and fine, and the waters are generally calm in this area.
Son Bou Menorca beach is maybe the longest beach in Menorca, it can get very crowded it is located around 8km south from Alaior
Punta Prima Menorca beach has fine white sand to one side and rocks to the other. Located close to Sant Luis, there are pedaloes, windsurfing, and sailing equipment available to hire, and parking is available on the beach

Menorca Beaches Information
Menorca (which is also known as Minorca) has around 100 beaches covering 216km of coastline, this is a similar amount as Ibiza and Mallorca and Ibiza combined. There truly is something for everyone. There are beaches with caves, or the huge deserted beaches, or beaches with water sports, restaurants, and great people watching. The waters around Ciudadela are amongst the cleanest in the Mediterranean. It is worth knowing that if the wind is blowing from the north visit the southern coastal beaches, and visa versa.
