Welcome to Corralejo Golf
Fuerteventura hosts just one golf course at the moment, which unfortunately isn't in Corralejo it is located in another resort, Caleta de Fuste it has only been open since April 2002! Caleta de Fuste is not far from Corralejo however, about 20 to 30 minutes drive by car!
There are another four golf courses being planed or under construction across the island in Puerto del Rosario, Jandia, Cortillo and Pajara at present, some closer to Corralejo. So although Fuerteventura is not really known as a golfing holiday destination it soon will be!
Fuerteventura Golf Club
Fuerteventura golf course is a wonderful 18 hole, par 70 course, with yardage of 6697, over two loops of nine holes beginning and ending at the clubhouse. There is three big lakes over the course and all of them come into play. It is a reasonably flat course, with only a few climbs. The course was designed by Juan Catarimeau, and home to the Spanish open in 2004. Within the club there is a 50 bay driving range, a large putting green and a second green for chipping and bunker shots. In the clubhouse you will find a large pro-shop, various bars, restaurants and cafes, changing rooms (which include lockers) and outside there is a terrace and garden area. Booking in advance is recommended and proof of handicap will be required.
