Nightlife in Lanzarote is Brilliant, although not as mad as Tenerife, there is still plenty of Nightlife that will suit most tastes.
The nightlife in Costa Teguise is not legendary – party animals generally take a taxi to Puerto del Carmen, a larger resort ten miles (16km) to the west. But there is a nightclub and a disco, and nice bars around the marketplace to start the evening off, including Hooks and the Irish Fiddler where guests can sit outside. Legends bar provides entertainment most nights such as a hypnotist or an Abba tribute band. There is a casino in the Hotel Oasis.
Here you will find a a good selection of restaurants, bars and pubs along Avenida Islas Canarias near the Toca Shopping centre. You will be able to find many restaurants where you can just sit in peace and watch the world go by along the seafront and promenade as most lively action takes place around the commercial centres.
Bars are open all day every day until the early hours. So if you fancy partying hard into the night you should copy the locals and have a siesta!!! Discos and nights clubs usually open around 11 pm and close when the last body has left, which is usually around 5 or 6 in the morning!! Please be aware that 'clubs' and 'nightclubs' are not the same as in England these places are brothels and strip joints, if you fancy dancing the places you should look for are 'disco's' or 'discotheques'!!

To eat there is everything from lovely Tapas Bars and more traditional Canarian restaurants to the typical Chinese, English etc wherever you are staying!
Many hotels offer their guests special evening events too which can be great fun for the family.
If you are looking for the non-tourist oriented places and get a taste of real Spanish nightlife, then Arrecife the capital of the island, is the place to go.
The main areas for partying hard are in the capital Arrecife - along Jose Antonio Street in the centre. As well as the two largest tourist centres - Puerto del Carmen, around Avenida de las Playas, or the city's old port, and in Costa Teguise on the Avenida de las Islas Canarias near the Toca shopping centre (centro commercial Toca). This is where you will find the lively bars and disco's.
So if you are going with the family or friends, whether you are young or old, Lanzarote will have something to suit you!!
