If you are buying to let then it is better if you bought in a more popular resort, like that of Los Cristianos, Playa de las Americas or Puerto de la Cruz rather than this resort which is in the middle of no where! Too many tourist being in the middle of nowhere would'nt be the type of place that they would want to vacate to!!! It is more likely to have your place rented out all year round in a more main and popular resort! Although still many Spanish and Germans prefer El Medano as a resort, also it is popular with the keen windsurfers, there are not many private places to rent so it could be great investment if looked after right!
Villas will vary, depending on whether or not they have private swimming pools or communal pools, how close they are to the beach or if they are beachfront! how many bedrooms they have or whether they are detached with land or detached / semi detached in a complex this will make the price different. The detached with own swimming pool villas are a little more expensive and start at approx £150,000
Apartments in El Medano start at around £50,000 for a one bedroom and £60,000 for a two bedroom. The prices will obviously vary on whether or not you have a communal pool, fitness centre, what other, if any facilities the complex has and location, distance to the beach and centre etc.
