The town of Es Castell has a market every Monday and Wednesday from around 10am to 2pm selling crafts clothes and trinkets etc. Most resorts in Menorca have a weekly market. This is an important part of the community, and shopping in Menorca and all over Spain. Full of atmosphere and bursting with locals it is a great place to pick up souvenirs such as clothes, jewellery, leather products, or try some juicy fresh Spanish fruit; the water melon fabulous. Markets tend to start around 10am and close around 2pm, although most Markets are weekly, during the high season some Markets are held daily and stay open till around late into the evening.
