Just because you have chosen to Holiday in Fuerteventura does not mean that you have to stay there the whole time! Why not visit some of the other beautiful islands in the Canaries?
There are three Ferry service's that operate inter-island and to mainland Spain leaving from the 3 main ports in Fuerteventura; Puerto del Rosario, El Castillo and Corralejo. The prices range depending how far you are going and whether you choose to go by ferry or jetfoil, this is a quicker way but more expensive.
Most of the Ferry companies will also do a cargo service, you can find more details on their websites listed below. We have only listed passenger service below. Please note, if you have a rental car on Fuerteventura then check with the hire company that it is has insurance to go over to another island, this is not always the case and the insurance will be void as soon as cross into the ferry!
Fuerteventura Fred Olsen S.A. Ferries
The Fred Olsen S.A. Ferries have been operating throughout the Canary Islands from the early nineteenth century. There head office is based in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in Tenerife. The Ferry service runs regular inter-island ferries, cruise lines as well as activities for hospitality uses.
Just 20 minutes separate Fuerteventura from Lanzarote with Fred. Olsen Express. The new Bocayna Express, as if it were a bridge, links the two islands in a pleasure crossing daily.

Fuerteventura Compañia Trasmediterranea Ferries
Compañia Trasmediterranea is a larger ferry service, it runs to Arrecife, Lanzarote Las Palmas and Gran Canaria. With Children play areas and for longer journeys sleeping quarters, it is a very comfortable way of travelling!

Naviera Armas is generally a cheaper way of travelling it has various destinations as you will see from the website, it is a Spanish company and the website is in Spanish
