Welcome to Fuerteventura Football Club
U.D. Fuerteventura play in Spain's National League Division 2 Group B. There home ground is in Puerto del Rosario, although the team often plays matches in the Football ground close to Corralejo too.
Getting to the Puerto del Rosario football ground is easy especially if you are coming from Caleta - as you will see a huge sign saying 'Fremap' from miles off and follow that as it is just behind the stadium. The Corralejo football ground is easy too it is just outside Corralejo in the small town of Lajares as soon as you enter this village you will see the stadium, this stadium was built in 1990 and as well as the many football games it holds during the season it also has a 'lucha canaria' area which is a form of wrestling popular throughout the Canary Islands.
Something is highly amusing in the Puerto del Rosario football ground - the ticket office is to the left of the office and is a small hole that is just above knee height!! Which makes getting your tickets very funny (well I found it so anyway!!) - Entrance for adults is €10.
U.D. Football club have a great following with the Official U.D. Fuerteventura supporters club, they meet on a regular basis. As this seasons matches will be played in Puerto del Rosario the club are doing coach seats and tickets all inclusive. Anyone interested in going along should contact Al or Val on 0034 636 102 652. Most of the matches Kick Off on a Sunday at 11.45, please call them for coach seats. You can also buy Amigo's shirts (these are the shirts that the supporters wear) now in Pescadito's, Rogue's Gallery, Prince of Wales - these are all bars in Corralejo. The shirts cost €10 each.
So if you want to go see a match whilst vacating in Fuerteventura then either pop along to the stadium it is rarely full and you should always be able to get a seat - or go along with Official U.D. Fuerteventura Football Supporters club.
