Gandia Shopping With a population of over 60,000 people Gandia is a great place to go shopping, and has an above average range of retail outlets to serve the visiting tourist. There are many high street offerings, alongside markets, and an abundance of local stores selling craft goods and souvenirs. One thing worth mentioning about shopping in Gandia is the traditional opening hours of its shops. Although the largest stores will tend to open from 8am-8pm Monday-Saturday, the rest of the city conforms to the customary closing for siesta.
