Girona Cathedral Girona's Cathedral is widely lauded as being one of the more important Gothic cathedrals in Spain. Though an impressive structure in itself this has more to do with the width of it's nave & the size of the steps leading up to it's entrance that make the structure truly unique. These aspects (especially the nave) would have proved an immense challenge for the builders of the day.
