Arab Bathhouse Granada's 11th century Arab bath-house (El Banuelo) is one the best preserved Moorish structures in the city. Of course some careful restoration has been necessary but it still gives a good feel for what the baths would have been like at the time of their inception. When the Moors ruled at Granada there were many bath-houses peppered around the city. Bathing was sacred & usually undertaken before prayer.
