Triunfo Gardens Granada's Triunfo gardens (Jardines de Triunfo) are built on the site of a former Visigoth Basilica, & after that a Moorish cemetery. When the city was seized from the Moors a number of noble households moved here & churches were built. Later still the forces of Napoleon carried out executions at the site. Today the Triunfo gardens are a peaceful part of the city.
