| Ibiza City Walls The city walls, or in Spanish the Murallas de Ibiza were built in the 16th Century around the Capital of Ibiza town. Located in the old town the walls were built as a defence against attacks by the Turkish, and took 40 years complete. They are very well preserved, and have been classed as a world Heritage Site. There are many entrances but the main entrance is called in Spanish the Portal de Ses Taules. There are a couple of Roman statues, and great views, well worth a visit.
