| Ibiza Historical Ruins Balafia is a rustic settlement situated in the area of Sant Joan. You can still see the ruins from the living quarters and defense towers, dating back from when the Moors were ruling. The Ses Paises de Cala d'Hort was built at the pinnacle of Punic power. These ruins comprise many buildings used as homes and for farming purposes. The Sa Caleta Phoenician Settlement was only recently discovered. It is located between Es Codolar beach, and Puig des Jondal. Dating back from VIII-VI BC, it is the only example of a Phoenician village on the Island.
