Ibiza Towers
Tactically built on Ses Portes Point, the Ses Portes Tower was built in the 16th century as a defence against invasions of the Algerians and Corsairs.
The Es Savinar defence tower is 200m high and overlooks the islands of Es Vedra and Es Venadrell. Located in between the towns of Es Cubells and Cala Dhort this is a well preserved historical building.
Situated at one end of Playa Den Bossa beach, the purpose of the Sa Sal Rosa Tower was to protect Ibiza harbour. Superb views, well worth a visit.
The Puig d'en Missa is a round column build adjacent to the watch tower in the 16th century for protection, located in the popular tourist resort of Santa Eulalia at the top of the hill fabulous views and well worth the walk.
