La Mola Tourism The resort of La Mola is situated on the South East tip of Formentera Island just a little inland.  La Mola is a small town with some of Formentera's sights including some caves, a church, and a lighthouse.  There is also a twice weekly market every Sunday and Wednesday evenings from 4-9pm.  La Mola is also a good place to go for a walk or hike.  There is a specific path from El Pilar de la Mola road up the hillside overlooking the picturesque beach.  The closest beach to La Mola town is the Playa Es Calo this is a small sandy beach north facing popular for scuba diving and snorkeling, nudity is normally accepted on this beach.
