There is one Airport in Lanzarote, named simply Lanzarote Airport (ACE). It is located 5km from Arrecife the islands capital.

The first thing you will come across when arriving at Lanzarote Airport is the Arrivals lounge. It is located on the ground floor in Terminal 1 and in Terminal 2. The area has six standard baggage reclaim carousels and a carousel for special baggage. Customer service desks of the handling and car hire companies will also be located in this area. In the public area there is Medas cafeteria, tour operator companies and a tourist information office, which is run by the Island Council of Lanzarote.
The arrivals area in Terminal 2 has only one baggage reclaim carousel, a lost luggage office and several car hire companies.
With either terminals, after collecting your luggage you will go though to the Arrivals Hall! Here are either the tour operators or people who have come to the airport to meet relatives or friends from a flight can obtain information on the arrival hall via the monitors located in the terminal lobbies. Its is relatively easy and stress free to get through.
Terminal 1 is used domestic and International flights and Terminal 2 is used for inter-island flights.
Terminal 1, the departures area is on the first floor. There are forty transitory check-in desks and a counter for special baggage.
Once you have checked your baggage in, passengers can then proceed to the boarding area (departure lounge), which has several open terraces and an enclosed observation deck. Here you can find a wide variety of shops and catering outlets. When it is time for boarding the aircraft, information will show on one of the many monitors placed around the area, passengers can then proceed to the Aeroplane, via one of the twelve boarding gates that operate in Terminal 1.
Terminal 2 has 6 check-in desks and only 3 boarding gates (P1, P2 and P3). Terminal 2 departures area also has a ticket sales desk operated by the company Binter, Aena information service and a cafeteria also situated there.

There are plenty of facilities at Lanzarote Airport including;
Shopping: Shops at the airport include a duty-free shop, clothes shop, sports shop, toy shop, gift shops, art shop, home and decoration, a watch shop, a jewellers, a clothing accessories shop, pharmacy, an electrical goods and music shop, and a multi shop.
Eating and drinking: There are coffee shops, bars and fast-food stands on both the Arrivals and Departures floors; Café-Café, Cafetería Meda’s, Caffé Ritazza and Häagen Dazs all in Terminal 1.
There are 8 car hire companies in total, including; Autos Reisen, Avis, Betacar, Cabrera Medina, Cicar, Felycar, Hertz and Payless.

Money and communications, There is a bank and ATMs available for use. There is one bureaux de change in the Terminal 1 Arrivals hall, Travel 2000.
There is a VIP lounge (Aena) / Access for all passengers, following payment of fee. Internet, TV, catering and press. This is located in Terminal 1 on the first floor.
There are 4 Information services in total which are to provide help and guidance for passengers.
Luggage: Lost property offices are located in all zones (tel: (0034) 928 846 001).
Other facilities: There is a 24-hour medical service, a pharmacy, police station, baby rooms, a children’s play room, a meeting point located on the ground floor in Terminal 1 and several travel agencies and tour operators.
Throughout the terminal and airport there are plenty of disabled facilities, there are lifts and ramps in the terminal for disabled access. Disabled parking spaces are provided on each level of the car park. Passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.
