| Las Dalias Hippy Market The Las Dalias Hippy Market is set in the small town of San Carlos on the north east side of Ibiza Island. Located in the grounds of a restaurant, held weekly on a Saturday until 6pm in the winter and much later in the summer, open all year round. There is a fine array of handmade jewellery, clothes, a great place for souvenir shopping. Some say that this market is a more traditional alternative to the larger Las Dalias market held every Wednesday in Es Cana. Guide to Markets in Ibiza Island In most towns on Ibiza Island there is a weekly market. This is an important part of the community, and shopping in Ibiza and all over Spain. Full of atmosphere and bursting with locals it is a great place to pick up souvenirs such as clothes, jewellery, leather products, or try some juicy fresh Spanish fruit; the water melon fabulous. Markets tend to start around 10am and close around 2pm, although most Markets are weekly, during the high season some Markets are held daily and stay open till around late into the evening.
