The resort of Los Cristianos is a neighbour of the popular hot spot of Playa de las Americas. Although Los Cristianos is more popular with families and couples. There is always something to do in this lovely resort.
Nightlife in Los Cristianos is more sophisticated than its playful neighbour and here you will find more couples and families enjoying the restaurants and bars! There are still a few places if you fancy partying the night away, but not as much choice as Playa de las Americas. You will find here a wide range of restaurant with the local cuisines, Spanish tapas, English food and Chinese are the main variety for you to decide from! Bars are more relaxed and have a variety of salsa, jazz, live bands and cover bands to choose from!
During the day if you just fancy lying on a beach and relaxing with the children keeping amused, then the beach in Los Cristianos, Playa de las Vistas is undoubtedly the best beach for children on the island! There are lots of water sports available along the beach like parasailing, several diving clubs and your typical holiday sports the ringo's and banana boats, as well as peddlo's and wet biking. At this beach there are a lot of restaurants and bars along the front, sunbeds, changing rooms available and showers and toilets.
Of if you fancy something more energetic then there are places to visit that are close to the resort, such as the main water park at the resort of Playa de las Americas, Octopus Aqua Park! The other water park on the island is close too, in Adeje! Whale watching and Dolphin watching, fishing excursions and lost of water sports all leave or take place near or at the harbour in Los Cristianos.
There are a wide variety of excursions that run from Los Cristianos you've got the Jeep safaris, Mount Tiede Tours, and if all that's not enough or maybe you'd prefer to explore alone then you could hire a car and go for the day exploring the island! There are also Zoos, Gardens, Golf clubs and go-karting near by So you will never be stuck for anything to do! Most are either are a free bus ride away or short taxi ride if you cannot drive or do not want to hire a car!
