In the popular resort of Magaluf located in the south of the amazing island, Mallorca / Majorca there is an abundance of tourist attractions, the majority being more aimed at families and groups of young friends, like water and theme parks. Although across the island you will find many man made and natural attractions. You can see these by either boat, train, bus / coach excursions or by yourself by hiring a car! Magaluf is a lovely holiday destination, throughout the summer peak season you will find many British and other European tourists visiting the resort. If you fancy a beach holiday then Magaluf beach resort is one of the oldest resorts in Mallorca and still remains ever popular with visitors to the island. The beach of Portals Nous is situated on a long narrow cove, with golden sand and good beach facilities. During the peak season, most of the main beaches in Magaluf have lifeguards. Many have swimming areas that are marked by buoys, although this doesn't mean that swimming outside these areas is prohibited. On the island you will normally find notice boards at the entrances to the main beaches that list the facilities that are available, such as showers and wheelchair access etc.

Along with the splendid array of beaches that are excellent for all kinds of watersports. Tourists flock here throughout the year and try there hand at the popular sports such as diving, of there are many centres that can teach you and get your certificate, from beginner to advanced! Fishing, is another favourite, again you will find many companies or private charters around the ports in the main tourist resorts. These companies will take you out for the day for all sorts of fishing whether it be Big Game fishing or just normal they can provide assistance and generally these companies even put on a little picnic for you! Then there is sailing, windsurfing, skin divers and the usual tourist watersports; ringo's, para sailing, banana boats, water skiing and jet skiing!
In Magaluf you will find many Theme, Water and Amusement parks that are a great day out for all, including Western Water Park, Aqualand - a brilliant water park located just to the east of Magaluf. Plus more!
