Maria Luisa Park The Maria Luisa Park (or Parque Maria-Luisa) was created as part of the 1929 Expo. The park is roughly in the centre of the 1929 development and is therefore surrounded by grand pavilions and other monuments; many of which now house the cities best museums. The park runs for half a mile at the southern end of the city. It is a delightful locale, brimming with palm, elm, pine, and orange trees, alongside many fountains, ponds, and greens.
