Marineland Catalunya Marineland Catalunya is both a marine zoo & a water park rolled into one, also on site is an excellent dolphinarium. The water park is one of the best in the area with a wide selection of slides & rides, including the new Boomerang (a design exclusive to this park). The park's marine zoo plays host to 114 animals & fish belonging to over 30 different species. Shows are put on throughout the day & feature Dolphins, Sea Lions, & Papagayo Parrots. Food within the park comes in the form of the Mare Nostrum restaurant (located next to the new aviary), & a collection of outlets serving pizzas, hamburgers, chicken, chips, & of course ice-cream. Marineland Catalunya is located to the North-East of Barcelona near the town of Patafolls on the Costa Brava. It is easily reachable via the C-32 motorway or the N-11 coastal road.
