Maspalomas a busy tourist resort in the South of Gran Canaria. Other Tourist Attractions in Maspalomas resort include the water sports including; Deep Sea Fishing, Sailing, Surfing, Body Boarding and windsurfing, and also Whale and Dolphin excursions like many of the other Resorts in Gran Canaria!
Maspalomas is a famous holiday destination situated on the southern coastline of Gran Canaria. The resort is best known for its stunning sand dunes which strongly resemble the Sahara Desert in Africa. Now an important National Park, the dunes are probably best seen from one of the camel trains that regularly cross the undulating sands.
Maspalomas has several other notable tourist attractions, including the huge water park of Aqualand, which boasts over 30 different water slides. With names such as Tornado, Kamikaze and Anaconda, many of Aqualand's rides are geared towards adrenalin junkies, although there are also many attractions suitable for younger children.
