Morro Jable
Morro Jable is a beautiful beach resort with miles and miles of golden sand and crystal clear blue sea. It is located in the south of Fuerteventura. Originally a small fishing village, with only 200 inhabitants - Morro Jable is now a brilliant hot spot for tourist's and has grown into a popular, big tourism Mecca for German's with inhabitants now of over 8000!! In and before the early eighties the only way you could get to this idyllic resort was via a sandy track and it wasn't until the main road in 1982 was built that tourism here really started to really boom!
There is something for everyone here in this fabulous resort including the many shops, bars and restaurants, the old village - which still remains characteristic and true to Canarian culture with the lovely quaint harbour - where you will still find the local fishermen and yachtsmen and be able to escape the hustle and bustle of the tourist resort and be able to relax and take a stroll down the pretty promenade or have a drink in one of the lovely seafront cafes and restaurants and watch the world go by! The amazing beaches, boat trips, water sports and diving!

The beaches here are unbelievable some of the largest on the island and breathtaking with the white sand stretching for miles (some as far as 35km) they truly look like a beach on a paradise island!
There is something for all watersport enthusiast, everything from jet skiing, surfing, diving, sailing and windsurfing - the windsurfing championship have been held on one of the beaches in Morro Jable.
The nightlife is what you want it to be here in Morro Jable it can be lively and you can party the night away or it can be sophisticated and you can relax in a lovely restaurant or bar sitting under the stars with a drink and watch the world go by until the early hours or entertaining with many bars providing live music, cabaret and stand ups! This partying takes place around the Commercial centres in the resort, where there is a huge variety of bars and restaurants in the centre you really can have a great night out if you like the kind of tourist nightlife that includes karaoke bars, cheesy entertainment and live music! For the more sophisticated evening you will find lots of lovely restaurants and bars along the promenade, harbour and seafront where some will have entertainment of some kind or some use the amazing scenery as there entertainment! You will find a real mixture of places to eat out from traditional Canarian food and Tapas, a few English places, seafood, steak houses, Italian, Chinese and lots of German bars and restaurants. Alternatively the majority of the main hotels in the resort have brilliant restaurants and a varied entertainment schedule which is perfect for those with the younger families!
Morro Jable has many Ocean front or close by, Villas for you to rent, apartments in complex's and blocks and Hotels that range from basic - somewhere for you to just lay your head to luxurious with a wide range of facilities! All available for your stay in this amazing resort! All property ranges in size and shape, from studio's or one bedroom apartments, if there are just the two of you to three bedroom - normally sleeping up 8 if your taking the family or going in a big group, or one bedroom villas and bungalows up to 4 bedroom villas!
There are Companies that rent these properties out, but there are private rentals available too, where people that have bought the property for holiday homes and when they are not there using it they will rent it out for your exclusive use! These properties are set in a privately owned complex, where some locals live! They come with communal swimming pools too, and the pools are normally quieter due to the fact it isn't full of holiday makers and is more residential. A word of warning though these are quieter and normally better for families or older groups than the young tourists!!!
