Welcome to Morro Jable Golf
There is only one golf course in Fuerteventura - unfortunately it isn't in Morro Jable it is located about 1 hour away in Caleta de Fuste, although at present there is one under construction in Jandia - which is the neighbouring resort to Morro Jable. The one in Caleta de Fuste has only been open since April 2002! Although Fuerteventura it is not yet popular for golfing holidays it soon will be with another four courses being planned and constructed across the island in Puerto del Rosario, Jandia, Cortillo and Pajara at present!!
Fuerteventura Golf Club
Fuerteventura golf course is a wonderful 18 hole, par 70 course, with yardage of 6697, over two loops of nine holes beginning and ending at the clubhouse. There is three big lakes over the course and all of them come into play. It is a reasonably flat course, with only a few climbs. The course was designed by Juan Catarimeau, and home to the Spanish open in 2004. Within the club there is a 50 bay driving range, a large putting green and a second green for chipping and bunker shots. In the clubhouse you will find a large pro-shop, various bars, restaurants and cafes, changing rooms (which include lockers) and outside there is a terrace and garden area. Booking in advance is recommended and proof of handicap will be required.
