Mountain climbing in Andorra is a popular outdoor pursuit and there are numerous areas which will entertain and challenge the visiting climber. This part of the Pyrenees mountain range offers everything from the more straightforward slopes, scrambles, and peaks, to intensive rock faces with overhangs and much more challenging snowy peaks. The best bases for mountain climbing in Andorra are usually the higher mountain villages of Ordino and Arinsal. The mountain climbing season in Andorra usually stretches from June to September.
