Oliva Tourist / Tourism During the summer months Oliva's population swells with an influx of tourists, mainly coming from more central parts of Spain. The town is a pretty place with a well preserved old center featuring many antiquated buildings and monuments of interest. The influence of past settlers is easily visible here with distinct Moorish, Christian, and other old town areas. There are also many blue flag rated sandy beaches in Oliva, and an ample entertainment infrastructure. Oliva's suburbs are (as with other towns) a sprawl of privately owned apartments and other property types. At present these are mainly owned by Spanish nationals though recent years have brought increased interest from both overseas investors and those looking to set up homes.
