Pineda Beaches Pineda is a charming town well known for its sandy beach-front. Though most of the coastline is made up of beaches with course golden sand, there are a number of rocky coves for those who prefer to indulge in a spot of snorkeling. Although beaches are the town's main attraction, visitors to the area will rarely find them overcrowded. Great care & attention is paid to litter collection, with lifeguards/police patrols operating in popular spots. It is made up of course golden sand & due to its urban location has several access points. Due to efforts made to ensure cleanliness & the provision of facilities the beach has been awarded the European blue flag in recent years. Flanking it are a host of cafes, restaurants, & the odd bar. Due to it's location fronting the town centre Playa Pineda does have a relatively high occupancy level for the area, though it is still lower than in many other towns.
