Pineda Water Parks Pineda is a popular destination for Spaniards & other European tourists, resulting in a significant population rise during the summer season. Of course the hottest months can get a little sticky, so what better way to cool off than in one of the Costa Brava's or the nearby Costa Dorada's superb water parks. On the whole they are modern, clean, & well looked after with good transport connections. Many are even reachable via direct bus routes from the main coastal resorts.   Marineland Catalunya (Palafolls) Marineland Catalunya is a Marine Zoo & Water Park rolled into one. It is North-East of Barcelona near the town of Palafolls on the Costa Brava, easily reachable via the C-32 motorway or the N-11 coastal road... Waterworld (Pineda) This excellent waterpark is touted as being the largest in Europe. Located just two minutes by bus from Lloret de Mar the park is easily reached & offers visitors an array of water slides, pools, & many other attractions... Aquadiver (Platja D'Aro) Located just outside of Platja D'Aro on the Costa Brava this aqua park is managed by the same people that own Waterworld Lloret de Mar.
