Playa Blanca does not have a golf course at present, although there are plans for a golf course to be built close to the resort. The island of Lanzarote hosts just one Golf Course at present, The Golf Costa Teguise course - which is a par 72, 18 hole course. This is only about a 20-25 minute drive away from Playa Blanca. It is situated at the foot of a volcano and has magnificent view's of the ocean that will captivate you at every hole. This course is quite central and easy to get too.
Golf Costa Teguise, was designed by John Harris, the important British Firm and was built in 1978. The course is surrounded by leafy palm trees, extravagant cactus and volcanic lava, the warm temperature of Lanzarote and the natural attractions that the player comes into full contact with, really makes this course a pleasure to play.
The services provided at Costa Teguise include; a driving range - pro-shop - golf lessons - club, trolley and car rental - restaurant and Coffee shop.

There is another 18 hole course at present being built on Lanzarote. Another in the planning stage at present too. Making Lanzarote an up and coming golfing holiday paradise!!
