Plaza Corredera The Plaza Corredera square is unusual in Andalucia because it is built in the typical Castilian style of a Plaza Major (main square). it was once the main entrance to the amphitheater in the days of Roman rule, and so has always been a gathering point for the people of Cordoba. Numerous mosaics have been discovered here and are on display in the Alcazar. This square is a pleasant place to come for lunch, a drink, or to meet with people.
