Located on the south west side of Ibiza, Port des Torrent is a small resort with a handful of hotels, and a quiet tranquil beach. Very close to San Antonio you can really have the best of both world by residing in Port des Torrent on your annual holiday.
The beach in Port des Torrent is clean quiet and picturesque there is a diving school, and the sea life is quite amazing.
There are plenty of sights near to Port des Torrent including the two Status in San Antonio the Christopher Columbus Monument in honor of the famous explorer Christopher Columbus this magnificent monument. And the Statue of Christ Ibiza; constructed soon after to the Spanish Civil War this large statue of Christ is a major landmark in Ibiza, with spectacular views a perfect photo opportunity. You could take an island tour on the motorised train. This is two hours long, has around six stops at different sights around Ibiza, and departs daily at 11am, 1pm, and 4pm from the train stop in the center of San Antonio, near the fountains, and opposite Mei Ling the the Chinese restaurant.
Markets are a nice relaxing outing, and there are many in Ibiza. There are 2 in the neighbouring town of San Antonio; one vegetable market, and the other selling various products and trinkets great for souvenir shopping. There are both held weekly from late morning to early afternoon.
