Roman Theatre Museum The Roman Theatre Museum was only discovered in 1972 upon the embarkation of a civil construction project in the city center. Dating from the 1st century AD the theatre was partly dismantled over 100 years later to build a city wall. As years passed it was gradually built over and lost for well over a thousand years. Exhibits at the museums focus not only on the Roman theatre itself, bit on the site which it occupies and the people that lived here over the years.
