The nightlife in San Agustin is more sophisticated than its playful neighbours, you will find it more suitable for families and couples. Although there are still lots of bars - of all kinds including; Irish, English, karaoke, surf bars, salsa, live bands, jazz bars, gay bars and plenty more! The restaurants are lovely in San Agustin too of there are plenty too - mostly reasonably priced you will find every type of food including; typical Spanish taps bars, beautiful seafood restaurants, steak houses, German, English, Italian, Chinese and Indian! You will find most bars in the along the front and in plaza's within the resort.
Close by are the resort's of Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles where you can party the night away! In Plaza Maspalomas there is , Sunset Boulevard has live music and entertainment every night with DJs playing the latest music - It is good for pasta dishes, pizzas and freshly grilled meat too! Alabama's is brilliant and probably the best for RnB, soul, blues, reggae and rock & roll you'd be hard pushed to find better live music than here! It is situated next to the Hippodrome. Near Maspalomas Plaza and Kasbah, is the favourite tourist haunt - Harley Rock. Harley Rock is an American-style diner with "Tex-Mex" food, that is served till 3am, rock music and live shows. There's a happy hour from midnight till 1am!
If you want to paint the town red, then close by neighbouring hotspot Playa del Ingles too and in true Spanish style once the sun goes down the restaurant, bars and nightclubs come alive here!! If you like the hip-swaying salsa music, Live bands, Cover bands, jazz, or anything else then you will find it here! Irish bars and English bars galore!! Head for Kasbah, Playa del Ingles where you can take your pick of hundreds of bars, disco pubs and nightclubs. There are gay bars and clubs, cocktail bars, Irish bars, sports bars, café bars with live music and almost every other kind of bar imaginable. Two of the more popular clubs in town are Joy, here it plays pop and commercial music, and Cream, here it plays more hardcore dance music.
Also Holiday World is near which is a late night amusement park, it is in between Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles it is brilliant for families and later on partying the night away with it's many bars and 2 discos in too! It is free entry to most of the nightclubs but you can spend a lot on drinks as they can tend to be a lot more expensive! The bigger clubs don't really get going until around 1am but then they can party well into the early hours!
It may be a good idea to join in the locals tradition and take a siesta so you can keep up with the pace!
