There are two golf courses on Ibiza Island, both situated close to San Antonio in the town of Santa Eularia, set in the tranquil countryside overlooking the Mediterranean. The Ibiza Golf Club is an 18 hole, par 72 course, with buggies available to hire. The Golf Club Roca Llisa is a 9 hole fairly level golf course with broad fairways and fast greens, there is a driving range, and tutors available for lessons.
San Antonio has some great restaurants, and the local cuisine is of a very high standard. There is plenty of fresh decent food; everything from a effortless tortilla (Spanish omelette) to hand picked fresh lobster. There is plenty of fresh seafood due to Ibiza being such a small Island, it is never far from a fishing port. There is also an abundance of good traditional Mediterranean style cuisine dishes such as paella, Spanish tortilla, and gazpacho must be tried on a Ibiza holiday. In the towns nearly all of the restaurants have a sidewalk dining area, a terrace or garden, the majority have fast and professional service, as being a waiter is a highly respected career in Ibiza.
The nightlife in San Antonio is the best in Ibiza and some would say the world! With bars such as Cafe Del Mar Ibiza on San Antonio beach and clubs such as Manumission just outside of San Antonio. Then of course surrounding the picturesque harbour are the famous superclubs such as Es Paradis, Eden, and El Divino. The Bars are mostly located in the West End which is also known as the Sunset Strip. The majority of the bars are free to get into, and the drinks are cheaper than in the night clubs, however they still have fab music and a high standard of guest and local DJ's.
The San Antonio beach is full of beautiful and young Ibiza babes sunbathing. There are many sunset music beach bar. Plenty of water sports, on the fine golden sand, where you can soak up the sun, and swim in the clear cobalt waters.
There is a huge waterpark just outside of San Antonio in Playa den Bossa. Aguamar Water Park has 7 general water slides, 1 very scary water slide, 4 wiggly slides, 2 black hole rubber rings slides, and and many pools, and restaurants.
There are two Status in San Antonio the Christopher Columbus Monument in honor of the famous explorer Christopher Columbus this magnificent monument. And the Statue of Christ Ibiza; constructed soon after to the Spanish Civil War this large statue of Christ is a major landmark in Ibiza, with spectacular views a perfect photo opportunity.
