San Martin Bridge The San Martin Bridge in Toledo is a well preserved five arch medieval bridge that spans the River Tajo. It is defended at each end by large fortified towers, one of which forms a part of the main city walls. The bridge itself dates back to the beginning of the 13th century although it has seen several modifications since then, the most notable of which are of course it's towers which date from the late 13th and 16th centuries.
