| Santo Tomas Tourist Information Santo Tomas is located between the resorts of Cala Galdana and Son Bou on the west side of Menorca island. Just half an hour from the airport and around 30km from the capital; also known as Mao). The best time to visit Santo Tomas is between May and October, high season is from June to September. There are many sights near to the resort of Santo Tomas from Cales Coves, or the Ciutadella Museum, the Diocese Museum, the Museum of Menorca, or you could learn how to Scuba Dive. Visit the Gin Distillery, tour the Ciutadella Castle, and much more. There are many fiestas all over Menorca Santo Tomas does not have its own, however the locals are normally very welcoming with tourists that want to join in with fiestas. I would very much recommend going to a Spanish Fiesta in Menorca as the locals really know how to party. A typical fiesta is celebrated annually and usually local businesses close, the roads are blocked off, and a street party is set up with food, drink and music in abundance. People of all ages join the party in singing and dancing. Then in the evening the there is usually a fair ground, and often on the last night there will be a fireworks display. Sometimes there is even a bank holiday the day after the fiesta for the town to recover. The beach in Santo Tomas Menorca is long and narrow with white fine sand and surrounded by hills. There are facilities such as beach bars, water sports and parking. The Club de Golf Son Parc golf course is situated just under 30 minutes drive from Santo Tomas. Situated close to the sea, surrounded by pine trees, and home to many peacocks. It is a moderately short and even course, trickier on the greens, however the wind can add challenges on every hole. Please see Santo Tomas Golf for more details. There are several marinas in Menorca Spain the biggest is in Mahon (Menorca's Capital) it is called Ribera del Puerto with around 332 berths. Santo Tomas does not have its own marina but there are a few near by please see Santo Tomas Marinas for more details.
