Seville Shopping The stylish city of Seville offers a multitude of shopping opportunities; perhaps some of the best in southern Spain. There are enough middle-high end retail outlets present to keep anyone interested. Alongside this are a multitude of typical markets & larger department stores. However for shops that are slightly more unique to the area (or perhaps more directly aimed at tourists) it is best to visit the Triana neighborhood; here visitors will find an array of authentic looking shops selling the mainly (but not exclusively) ceramic wares that Seville is known for. One thing worth mentioning about shopping in Seville are the typical opening hours. Although the largest stores will tend to open from 8am-8pm Monday-Saturday the rest of the city conforms to the customary closing for siesta. As such the best times for shopping in Seville are from 9am-1.30pm and 5pm-8pm, with many outlets closing early on a Saturday and closed on a Sunday.
