Snowboard Andorra Andorra is well known for it's snowboarding and it boasts facilities to practice this and other snowbound activities in abundance. There are a number of resorts in Andorra, the largest of them Grand Valira and Vall Nord. Between them they offer a total of 174 slopes measuring 282 kilometres. Due to their proximity they are today all linked together and there is a good amount of snowboarding to be done from any of the main centers. The resorts themselves are modern, with a good range of facilities including a ski lift system in operation utilizing some 107 lifts overall. Especially of interest to snowboarders may be the various freestyle areas open to the public, these include half pipes, jumps and rails, boarder cross, as well as  bumps areas, and freeride zones. There are also a variety of options for off-piste boarding, though this is mainly centered around the Vallnord resort.
